<p class="text-muted mb-3">Are you a hands-on security professional ready to set the direction for information security at an international organisation? This Head of Information Security role is a new, senior position reporting to the Global Head of Technology, with real influence over what good security looks like.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll be the lead subject-matter expert on information and cyber security, working with infrastructure teams and suppliers to put proportionate, practical controls in place. There is no security team to manage, so your credibility and willingness to get into the technical detail will make the difference.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What You'll Be Doing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Setting the information security direction, standards and priorities for an international business</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Defining what good security looks like and shaping proportionate, practical controls</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Challenging network, infrastructure and cloud configurations constructively with engineers and suppliers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Providing expertise and oversight across vulnerability management, security monitoring and incident response</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Explaining security risk and its business impact clearly to Executives</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Seeing improvements through to implementation with teams who do not report to youWhat You'll Bring</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Significant information or cybersecurity experience, grounded in hands-on technical work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong experience securing enterprise network and infrastructure environments</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of cloud security, ideally within Microsoft 365 and Azure</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A strong understanding of identity, authentication, privileged access and access control</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience applying NIST CSF, CIS Controls or ISO 27001 as practical tools, with a record of improving security standards and policiesDesirable: Google Enterprise knowledge, a recognised security certification, experience in an international or multi-site organisation, publishing, media or another IP-rich sector</p>
