Starburst is seeking a Backend Software Engineer in Boston to optimize Trino for public clouds, build a scalable Galaxy platform, and implement robust Identity and Access Management security features. You will design, develop, and operate IAM capabilities across Starburst Galaxy and the Starburst Enterprise Platform (SEP).
This role emphasizes secure, high-performance backend development with RBAC/ABAC concepts, collaboration across teams, and a path to ownership in a fast-growing data platform
