<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are recruiting for a Senior Fire & Security Engineer to join a well-established and growing Fire & Security business covering Reading and the surrounding areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to remain technically hands-on while taking on additional responsibility for supporting and mentoring junior engineers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A strong electrical background or electrical bias would be particularly advantageous.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will carry out a mixture of installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and fault finding across:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Fire Alarm Systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">CCTV</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Access Control</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Intruder Alarms</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Emergency Lighting</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Integrated Security Systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a senior member of the team, you will also provide technical support to other engineers, assist with complex fault diagnosis and help develop junior engineers through coaching and mentoring.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge across Fire Alarm and Security systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with service, maintenance, installation and/or commissioning</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good electrical knowledge</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confidence providing technical guidance to other engineers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous mentoring or supervisory experience advantageous</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong customer-facing and communication skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Based within a reasonable travelling distance of Reading</p>
