Business Services Manager

Our client, a reputable firm of accountants based in Middlesex, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper/Business Services Manager with a minimum of ten years of experience in this field.

This role entails managing and supervising the bookkeeping team, as well as personally carrying out work with their assistance.

This is a client facing role, so solid professional communication skills needed.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record in book-keeping and payroll to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role,

you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping and payroll processes for a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day financial transactions, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and support the smooth operation of the firm's accounting services. You will work closely with the management team to deliver accurate financial records and facilitate efficient payroll processing. Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll within a firm of accountants

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong understanding of accounting software and payroll systems

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Previous managerial experience or leadership qualities are desirable
