This role involves the development and operations of Monitoring and Data Analytics Tools for the Network Control Platform of Deutsche Telekom Germany (AAA Fixed Net Germany).#### Responsibilities* Take **end-to-end responsibility** for the monitoring platforms.* Help **evolve monitoring platforms** across both traditional infrastructure and cloud-native environments.### Your ProfileWe are looking for a **DevOps Engineer** with a strong focus on monitoring and observability, possessing deep technical expertise in cloud-native environments, Linux administration, and automation tools.#### Must Have Skills* Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools, specifically **Checkmk, Grafana, and Kibana*** Good understanding of **OpenTelemetry** and modern observability concepts (collectors, exporters, metrics, logs, and traces)* Solid **Linux administration** skills* Experience with **VMware** and **Kubernetes-based** cloud environments* Knowledge of container technologies such as **Docker** or similar runtimes* Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including **GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, and Git*** Scripting or programming skills, preferably in **Python and Bash*** Experience with **APIs, YAML, JSON**, and the automation of operational tasks* Fundamental knowledge of networking, including **DNS, load balancing, and firewalls*** Strong teamwork and communication skills* A structured, solution-oriented mindset* Ability to create and maintain technical documentation in **English*** Knowledge of rollout management based on **ITIL/corporate processes** (Incident, Problem, and Change management)#### Nice to Have Skills* Experience in both **classic and agile** forms of cooperation### About Us**T‐Systems** is part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, with around 30.000 employees worldwide.
