CCTV Engineer

In this role you will install, maintain and repair CCTV systems, access control and associated security equipment across client sites in Derbyshire. You will work on mobile and fixed deployments, including solar-powered units, contributing to a safer, more secure environment. You will liaise with site teams to deliver upgrades, fault-finding and refurbishment tasks while upholding relevant standards. This position offers hands-on technical work with a focus on scalable security and energy-efficient deployments, within a supportive team. A strong blend of hands-on engineering and field collaboration will help you shape reliable security infrastructure across multiple sites.

• Install CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and related security systems on client sites
• Maintain and repair CCTV and security equipment in accordance with standards
• Refurbish and upgrade mobile CCTV tower units and fleet
• Fault finding, testing and general refurbishment of solar-powered systems
• Coordinate with site teams and other stakeholders to schedule works
• Ensure compliance with current security and electrical standards
• Handle basic 12VDC systems and battery maintenance
• Travel within Derbyshire and surrounding areas (approx. 200 miles) and maintain valid driving license

• Experience with security systems, CCTV and access control
• Understanding of basic 12VDC systems
• Experience with batteries (changing/charging/inspecting)
• Ability to liaise with site teams
• Ideally IP CCTV experience
• CSCS card holder (FESS CSCS or General CSCS)
• Understanding basics of solar technology
• Good understanding of current standards
• Full UK driving license
• Fit for role medical
