We’resupportingalarge,complexorganisationonasignificantCyberRecoveryTechnologyProgramme andarelookingforanexperiencedCyberSecurityArchitecture&AssuranceLead totaketechnicalownershipofthearchitectureandassuranceagenda.
Thisisasenior,hands-onarchitecturerole.You’llactasatrustedtechnicaladvisor,definingandgoverningthetargetcyberrecoveryarchitecturewhileprovidingindependentchallengeacrosstechnologyteams,programmestakeholdersandthird-partysuppliers.
Therole
You’llberesponsiblefor:
- LeadingthetechnicalarchitectureforamajorCyberRecoveryprogramme
- DefiningandgoverningtheTargetCyberRecoveryArchitecture
- Settingarchitectureprinciples,standards,referencearchitecturesanddesignpatterns
- Reviewingandchallengingtechnicaldesignsandsupplierproposals
- Identifyingarchitecturalrisk,dependencies,technicaldebtandsinglepointsoffailure
- Ensuringmultipletechnologies,workstreamsandsupplierscometogetherasonecohesiverecoverycapability
- Providingarchitectureleadershipacrossrecoveryinfrastructure,immutablebackups,cyberrecoveryvaultsandclean-roomenvironments
- Supportingcyberrecoverytesting,simulationsandreadinessreviews
- EnsuringsolutionsalignwithagreedRTOsandRPOs
Whatwe’relookingfor
You’llideallybringstrongexperienceacrossEnterprise,Solution,InfrastructureorCyberRecoveryArchitecture ,withdemonstrableexperiencedesigningorgoverningCyberRecovery,DisasterRecoveryorOperationalResilienceprogrammes.
Technically,we’reparticularlyinterestedinexperienceacrossIAM/ActiveDirectory/MFA/PAM,VMware,enterpriseinfrastructureandstorage,SQLServerandOracleRAC alongsideimmutablebackup,cyberrecoveryvaultandair-gappedrecoverysolutions.
ExperiencewithAzure,Microsoft365,Kubernetes/OpenShiftandhybridcloudrecovery wouldbebeneficial.Backgroundsincriticalinfrastructure,transport,aviation,utilities,financialservicesorotherNIS2-regulatedenvironments areparticularlyrelevant.
Thisshouldsuitsomeonewhocanoperateataseniorarchitecturelevelbutisstillcomfortablegettingintothedetail,challengingassumptionsandworkingacrosscomplextechnicalenvironments.
