Management Accountant

In this role you will influence commercial performance by delivering insights on costs and profitability. You will partner with operations, production and finance to support decision-making, drive productivity projects and improve reporting. You’ll own cost processes, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to capital investment appraisals. • Prepare monthly management accounts and analyse production costs and variances
• Own and lead the annual standard cost build process
• Develop and maintain cost accounting processes including new product costing
• Create and enhance management reporting and KPIs for visibility of performance
• Partner with operational teams to identify, implement and track productivity improvements
• Support capital investment appraisals and business cases
• Contribute to quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting
• Collaborate across finance and operations on business improvement projects

• Experience in management accounting, cost accounting or manufacturing finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proactive approach and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• CIMA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or studying towards qualification
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline preferred
• Around five years' experience in a relevant finance environment
