Trainee Assembly Operative

We are recruiting for Trainee Assembly Mechanics to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company within the automotive industry.

This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical, assembly, production, manufacturing, or hands-on experience, as well as those with a strong work ethic looking to develop technical skills. Full training is provided.

Working Days are Mon – Fri

Key Duties

• Mechanical assembly and fitting
• Strip down, cleaning, and reassembly of components
• Use of hand tools and basic engineering equipment
• Following engineering drawings or work instructions
• Quality inspection and testing
• General production and manufacturing duties

Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred but not essential
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and processes
• Good attention to detail

Backgrounds considered: assembly operative, production operative, warehouse operative, mechanical fitter, vehicle mechanic, machine operative
