Cyber Underwriter

In this role you will underwrite high-value cyber and technology E&O policies for global clients, collaborating with a closely-knit cyber team to grow our portfolio. You will engage with brokers and clients, participate in client meetings, and drive initiatives to position Hiscox as a leading cyber insurer in Lloyd’s. The position offers development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with exposure to US, UK, and international risks.

• Underwrite new and renewal risks within our cyber/appetite, starting with simpler cases and progressing to complex portfolios
• Attend and participate in client meetings
• Develop and maintain close relationships with partner brokers and clients
• Execute underwriting and sales initiatives to grow the portfolio
• Position Himself as a go-to market for cyber insurance in Lloyd’s

• Cyber underwriting experience or strong cyber broking background in the London Market
• Experience underwriting or broking large corporate/big-ticket cyber accounts (typically 250m+ revenue)
• Excellent communication skills with brokers, clients, and colleagues
• Strong negotiation skills with a commercially-minded approach
• Self-starter with high achievement orientation
• Decisive with good judgment and accountability
