Specialist, Accounting Operations

In this interim Financial Accountant role, you will partner with the Assistant Financial Controller to resolve escalations and support accurate financial reporting. You will coordinate activities across teams to uphold service quality, controls, and sound financial outcomes. You’ll contribute to core finance processes (R2R, P2P, OTC, A2R) and act as a key finance contact for stakeholders. You’ll drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and support transformation initiatives within Finance Operations.

• Partner with Assistant Financial Controller to resolve escalations and support accounting operations
• Coordinate cross-team activities to drive accountability for service quality, controls, and financial outcomes
• Support core finance processes: R2R, P2P, OTC, and A2R
• Act as a key finance contact and provide guidance on accounting and control matters
• Manage relationships with outsourced accounting providers and ensure high-quality service delivery
• Drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
• Support audit, tax, statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial control activities
• Lead resolution of accounting issues and complex transactions through governance processes
• Maintain robust financial control environment ensuring compliance and reporting integrity
• Contribute to transformation initiatives and share best practices across finance operations

• Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial processes
