Engineering Team Lead .Net Azure

In this role you lead a high-performing engineering team within a scaling FinTech, guiding quarterly delivery and the development of your engineers. You stay hands-on technically while driving outcomes through people, culture, and cross-functional collaboration. You balance customer-focused decisions with sustainable delivery, identifying risks early and removing blockers for the team. This position offers a mix of leadership, technical influence, and the chance to shape how the team scales and delivers impact at pace. • Build and lead a high-performing engineering team and own quarterly delivery objectives
• Mentor engineers, provide feedback, manage performance, and support career development
• Remove blockers and proactively address delivery, technical, and people risks
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Technical Leaders to align strategy and execution
• Maintain clear communication across remote, hybrid, and in-person settings
• Balance customer outcomes with team health and broader business goals
• Foster a sustainable, hands-on engineering culture that scales without relying on you for every problem

• Experience leading and delivering complex projects
• Advanced leadership or mentoring skills with full management remit
• Extensive commercial experience with C# .Net
• React knowledge is beneficial but not essential
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices and Azure-based scalable architecture
• Customer-focused, commercially aware with data-informed decision making
• Ability to manage cross-team dependencies and collaborate with Product, QA, and stakeholders
