Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our electronics manufacturing client.

We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Wirers / Wirepersons to join a growing team in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals with experience in fine wiring, soldering, box build assembly, and aerospace-standard electrical / electronic work.

The Role

Working as part of a highly skilled production team,

you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring of complex electrical and electronic systems to exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fine soldering and intricate wiring of electrical assemblies
• Point-to-point wiring and cable assembly
• Box build assembly and integration
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
• Looming, crimping, terminating, and routing cables
• Working to high-quality standards within regulated industries such as aerospace, defence, or similar sectors
• Inspecting and testing completed assemblies
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with customer specifications

Candidate

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Wirer, Wireperson, or Wiring Technician
• Strong background in fine wiring and soldering
• Experience with box build assembly
• Aerospace, defence, motorsport, medical, or other high-specification manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and wiring schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
