<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our customer is an established fire and security business with a varied engineering operation covering installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance. They are looking for an experienced engineer who can work across multiple fire and security disciplines while providing a professional service to customers across the North West.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary and Benefits – Fire and Security Service & Installation Engineer:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">37.5 hour working week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30 with a 30 minute lunch break.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Travel time paid at single time after the first 30 minutes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Company van provided, suitable for carrying the equipment required for the role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Fuel card supplied.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Company mobile phone and laptop.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Power tools, meters and other required engineering equipment provided.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities – Fire and Security Service & Installation Engineer</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Install, commission, service and maintain a range of fire and electronic security systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs, planned maintenance and emergency call-outs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Interpret specifications, drawings and supporting documentation to plan installation and service works effectively.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out minor remedial works during planned maintenance visits where authorised.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete electronic job sheets, service documentation, timesheets and mileage or expense records accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keep system logbooks updated with details of completed works while ensuring systems are left operational wherever possible.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide technical support to colleagues and assist with site attendance when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify potential upgrade or additional works and pass relevant opportunities to the operations team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain clear communication with the helpdesk, supervisors and customers regarding progress, delays and any issues affecting attendance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work safely and in accordance with relevant health, safety, security, environmental and technical</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Skills and experience – Fire and Security Service & Installation Engineer:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">2 to 5 years' experience within the fire and security industry.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Practical experience installing, testing, commissioning and servicing fire alarm, intruder, CCTV and access control systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability, with a logical approach to resolving technical problems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good working knowledge of relevant BS and EN standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to read specifications, drawings and technical documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic job management systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience programming and working with established fire and security system platforms.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to complete accurate service, installation and call-out documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Organised and capable of managing workload and time effectively while working independently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence.</p>
