Ai Delivery Lead

£450 per day | Outside IR35
Initial 3 Months (likely extension)
Sunderland (onsite once every 2 weeks)

We're looking for an experienced AI Delivery Lead to support the delivery of a growing AI portfolio within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Working alongside an established Project Manager, you'll play a key role in turning AI strategy into tangible business outcomes, coordinating stakeholders, managing delivery plans and driving the successful implementation of AI solutions across the organisation.

This is a delivery-focused position rather than a hands-on development role.

The Opportunity

You'll be supporting a range of AI initiatives, including:

• Generative AI adoption and enablement
• Microsoft Copilot and AI productivity solutions
• AI-powered applications and products
• Agentic AI solutions and emerging AI technologies
• Business process transformation through AI

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring AI initiatives move from concept through to deployment and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple AI workstreams and initiatives
• Work closely with the Project Manager to execute delivery plans
• Coordinate business, technical and third-party stakeholders
• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies and governance
• Support the rollout and adoption of AI-enabled solutions
• Ensure successful implementation and deployment of AI initiatives
• Drive stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams
• Provide regular reporting and progress updates to senior leadership

Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering technology, digital transformation or AI programmes
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments
• Strong delivery, planning and programme coordination skills
• Experience supporting implementation and deployment activities
• Ability to engage with technical teams whilst remaining business focused
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
• Generative AI initiatives
• AI adoption programmes
• AI-enabled applications
• Agentic AI solutions
• Utilities, energy, infrastructure or other regulated industries
