Higher Education Account Manager, UK Education

In this role you help accelerate AWS adoption across higher education accounts. You will engage executive leaders and technical staff to position AWS as a strategic technology platform. You’ll develop and execute territory plans, nurture a robust pipeline, and collaborate with partners to extend reach. You will drive customer outcomes through digital transformation initiatives in teaching, research, and operations. • Promote AWS services within a defined territory or industry vertical
• Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan
• Articulate compelling AWS value propositions to stakeholders
• Facilitate customer adoption of AWS solutions
• Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of projects
• Collaborate with partners to expand reach and adoption
• Engage and coordinate with multiple university/HE stakeholders across procurement and academia

• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders across teams
• Pipeline management experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools
• 3–5 years in account management, sales, or business development within Higher Education
• Demonstrated experience working with universities, colleges, or further education institutions
• Track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in HE procurement
• Ability to navigate long procurement cycles with multiple stakeholders
• Experience developing account plans aligned to institutional strategies (e.g., Teaching Excellence, REF)
