IAM Architect - DV Cleared IAM Architect (DV Cleared)

Overview

In this role you will design and govern enterprise IDAM architectures to support secure digital transformation in highly regulated environments. You will lead architecture across on-prem and cloud identity services, shaping security posture and governance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to implement modern identity platforms and drive secure access, MFA, and PAM initiatives. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused position in a practice trusted with critical UK environments.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale Identity and Access Management architectures
• Develop secure authentication, authorization and MFA frameworks
• Design and implement RBAC, ABAC and PAM solutions
• Define identity governance, access lifecycle and entitlement strategies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and support platform selection
• Ensure architectures align with government and industry security standards
• Conduct security risk assessments and mitigation
• Design audit, logging and monitoring capabilities
• Lead modern IDAM migrations and transformations
• Provide architectural leadership and governance across programmes
• Integrate identity across applications and cloud platforms
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and present recommendations

• 12+ years in Identity and Access Management
• 5+ years in an Architecture role
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale IDAM solutions
• Security-focused, regulated or government environments
• Proficiency with Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock
• Strong knowledge of AD/LDAP, OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, identity federation
• Experience with PAM, RBAC/ABAC, IGA, access certification
• Cloud and hybrid identity architectures
• Security architecture, cryptography and secure authentication principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
