As part of continued growth and investment, they are looking to appoint a commercially driven Sales Director to lead their UK sales operation, develop strategic customer relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the overall sales strategy, leading a high-performing Sales team while identifying new opportunities for growth across existing and emerging markets.

This is a highly visible leadership position that combines strategic planning with hands-on commercial management.

You will be responsible for building strong supplier and customer partnerships, improving sales effectiveness, and ensuring the business continues to strengthen its position as a trusted technical solutions provider.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth objectives.

Lead, motivate and develop a multi-disciplinary sales team across the UK

Drive revenue, profitability and market share growth.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and strategic partners.

Champion effective CRM usage, pipeline management and sales forecasting.

Promote new business development and design-win activity.

Implement performance metrics and reporting processes to support informed decision-making.

Identify and capitalise on market opportunities and emerging technologies.

Ensure customer

requirements are translated into value-driven technical solutions.

Support the continued development of the company's reputation as a leading solutions provider.

Essential

Requirements

Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.

Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable record of achieving revenue and profit growth.

Background within electronics components, electronics engineering, technical solutions, industrial technology, or related sectors.

Degree educated, ideally within Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing complex customer relationships and strategic accounts.

Strong forecasting, planning and CRM management capabilities.

Full UK driving licence.
