IAM Engineer – Java Developer

Job Description:

• Hands-on experience with Java development , including troubleshooting, debugging, code enhancements, API/integration development, and working with enterprise Java applications.
• Experience supporting IAM/Directory Services platforms , preferably PingDS (ForgeRock DS) , including migration, upgrade, configuration, deployment, and production support.
• Experience developing or maintaining PingDS plugins/extensions, custom integrations, or Java-based directory services components is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of Linux/RHEL , including filesystem, permissions, processes, services, networking fundamentals, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Linux shell scripting (Bash or equivalent) and automation of deployment, migration, validation, and operational activities.
• Familiarity with LDAP/LDAPS, directory services concepts, replication, schemas, certificates/TLS, REST APIs, JSON, and IAM security fundamentals .
• Experience with modern development practices and tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Maven/Gradle, testing frameworks, code reviews, and secure coding practices .
• Basic understanding of AI/GenAI concepts and practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or equivalent) for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting, with appropriate validation and secure-use practices.
• C/C++ experience will be a plus.
