Engage Education is currently working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Radcliffe that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils in their learning and development. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning across the primary curriculum
• Working with individuals and small groups to provide additional support
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development
• Helping to maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
• Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEND or additional learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong relationships with pupils

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or education setting
• Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Has a patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is reliable, proactive and adaptable
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a genuine commitment to helping children achieve their potential
