IT Security Manager

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience developing IT security policies and governance frameworks
• Strong Azure security and cloud governance knowledge
• Experience with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 or similar
• Practical knowledge of security technologies and SIEM platforms
• Cyber security risk and incident management experience
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
• A commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Willingness to travel within Europe when required

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Group-wide IT and cyber security strategy
• Own security policies, governance frameworks and risk registers
• Lead cyber risk assessments, remediation and incident response
• Oversee external security partners and supplier security audits
• Lead annual penetration testing and security awareness programmes
• Support Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and similar frameworks
• Improve security monitoring, logging and SIEM capabilities
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery and acquisition due diligence
• Produce clear security reporting for IT and business leadership

We are working with an international technology-led group to appoint an IT Security Manager to support and develop our Group-wide cyber security, governance, risk and compliance strategy across Europe. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will help shape security standards, strengthen cyber resilience and build a strong security-first culture across a growing organisation. You will work across a modern security environment including Microsoft Azure, Intune, Okta, Zscaler, SentinelOne, Mimecast, Tenable, KnowBe4, SD-WAN and SIEM. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of Group-wide security initiatives and play a key role in strengthening our cyber resilience.
