<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your new company:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">I am looking for an IT Security Manager to join a great defence organisation based in Wiltshire. You'll be joining an organisation in a period of growth and expansion, whilst being able to take ownership of the IT Security processes and procedures moving forward.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a newly created role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role responsibilities:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead organisation wide IT security awareness.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Own and drive the IT security strategy and roadmap, collaborating closely with the Group to align approaches.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure framework alignment with ISO27001, Secure by Design, CE+</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and Group cyber teams to enable effective project delivery, business change, and compliance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the Head of IT by driving senior leadership team awareness and understanding of the cyber security agenda.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Own the full life cycle of IT security initiatives from inception and design through delivery and transition into business as usual, tracking and demonstrating progress at every stage.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will need:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong demonstrable experience of IT and cyber governance, compliance, risk, and security within IT environments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good, up-to-date knowledge of threats to the business and how best to manage the threats.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong, in-depth understanding of information and cyber security.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience defining and delivering Information Security best practice.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience leading Information Security initiatives, including awareness programmes, training and phishing simulations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of data governance, cyber security and data protection principles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working with security audits and assurance activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to prioritise according to business strategy.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Relevant certifications are desirable, but not essential if there's substantial experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What you'll get in return:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary of between £60k-£65k</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">25 days annual leave + bank holidays - additional gained with service</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hybrid working 3 days per week on site in Tidworth.</p>
