Location: Cheltenham - On-site

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time - 37 hours per week

About the Role:

Our client is a well-established organisation operating across multiple sites in the Cheltenham area. They are looking for an IT Services Engineer to join their IT Services team and provide professional, customer-focused technical support.

The role will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across hardware, software, networks and a range of IT services, supporting both onsite users and remote workers.

You'll play an important role in maintaining reliable IT services and ensuring users receive an effective and

responsive support service.

What You'll Do:

Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across multiple sites

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues

Install, configure and support IT hardware, software and devices

Support Windows desktop environments and Microsoft Office

Provide support for wireless networks, internet access and telephony

Assist with user access, file services and business applications

Set up and support audio-visual equipment for meetings, events and presentations

Provide support for printing and wider technology across the organisation

Monitor IT systems and respond to issues proactively

Maintain accurate technical documentation and asset records

Assist with IT equipment procurement and related activities

Support the wider IT team with infrastructure maintenance and development

Escalate more complex technical issues where required

Provide occasional out-of-hours support when necessary, with time off in lieu provided What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a IT Support role with Service Desk exposure

Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networks

Experience providing 1st and/or 2nd line technical support

Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office environments

Experience installing and supporting IT hardware and devices

Good understanding of networking and connectivity

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure

A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues

Ability to work effectively as part of a team The Ideal Candidate:
