Job Title: Teaching Assistant (1:1 & Small Groups) Grade: Grade 2 (with clear pathway to progress to Grade 3) Hours: Full-time (32.5 hrs/wk, term-time + 1 INSET week; paid 44.8 weeks) | Part-time applications welcome Reports to: SENDCOAre you passionate about helping young people overcome learning barriers and thrive in the classroom? We are seeking an empathetic and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing dedicated 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with diverse educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group learning strategies aligned with individual pupil profiles (including SEND and SEMH needs).
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to manage pupil progress, classroom behavior, and learning resources.
• Foster an inclusive environment that builds pupil independence, self-esteem, and social engagement.
• Provide basic administrative support and assist with First Aid (training provided).
• Uphold strict safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Essential: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or Level 2 equivalent) with strong passes in Maths and English.
• Desirable: Level 3/A-Level qualifications, 1+ years of experience working with young people, and prior school/SEND experience.
