pLogistics Technician - KVM /p pLogistics Technician /p h3JOB INFORMATION /h3 pbJob Title: /b /p pbDivision: /b /p pbDepartment: /b /p pbSection/Unit: /b Logistics Technician Operation Logistics Logistics /p pbReports to: /b Logistics Coordinator /p pbWorkstation: /b KVM /p pbDirect Reports: /b N/A /p pbIndirect Reports: /b N/A /p h3JOB PURPOSE /h3 pResponsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the plant. /p h3MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB /h3 h3Operational Responsibilities /h3 ul liFollow all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment. /li liConduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly. /li liCommunicate effectively with other staff and superiors to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations in different shop floors /li liMay be required to perform other general Logistics duties as needed, such as: /li liUnboxing of CKD-cases as guided by the unboxing guidelines /li liInspection of parts and reporting any part defects to the team leader /li liRacking and binning of parts in their respective material handling equipment /li liRobbing of parts to enable assembly continuity in case of missing or damage parts replacement as guided by authorized parts discrepancy report /li liSequential feeding of parts to line assembly within the facility as per assembly schedule /li liEnsuring smooth operations within the line by providing real time reactions to Logistics related delays /li liCarry out post-mortem to ensure all parts are consumed, prepare reports in case discrepancy /li liReport all MMOs and KDQRs to your team leader and supervisor /li liHandle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner /li liAnd any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor /li /ul h3KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE /h3 h3Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role /h3 ul liPossession of a valid forklift operator’s license or certification –Class G /li liTo have completed secondary level of education /li liAbility to work accurately and methodically /li liAbility to accurately complete paperwork and count stock /li /ul h3Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role /h3 ul liWorking experience of 2 years in warehouse operations /li /ul h3WORKING RELATIONSHIPS /h3 h3Internal customers /h3 ul liLogistics coordinator /li liAssembly technicians /li /ul h3External Customers /h3 ul liCustomers /li liDealers /li liService providers /li liSpecial Product developers /li liOEMs /li /ul h3COMPETENCIES /h3 h3Technical /h3 ul liBasic Automotive knowledge /li liAble to identify vehicle parts /li /ul h3Functional /h3 ul liReport writing skills /li liPresentation skills /li liCommunication skills /li /ul h3Behavioral /h3 ul liInterpersonal skills – Is self-aware, and has ability to relate with people across all levels of seniority as appropriate, to ensure achievement of personal targets /li liIntegrity and trust – Trusted individuals who can present the unvarnished truth in an appropriate and helpful manner /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
