Mechanical Assembly Operators

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career as Mechanical Assembly Operator working for a respected market leader.

My client, a well-known international organisation in the manufacturing and repair of large and small power tools, are looking for mechanical assembly operators to join their team in Uddingston.

This role will be on a temporary basis to assist with peak volumes, this will offer candidates several shifts per week with the view to building a career within the organisation, long term.

The mechanical assembly operator role will involve diagnosing and rectifying faults on various types of machinery, servicing machines before they are sent back to the client and working closely with the Repair Team to advise on any product faults.

• Salary bracket £15.80 per hour
• Looking for people who are flexible to work on a part time basis, alongside studies etc
• Shifts are between Monday to Friday - 7:45am - 3:45pm
• Full on-going training and support in all aspects of mechanical repair
• The opportunity to build a fantastic career and in time move into other areas such as mobile service engineering

Candidate

requirements

• Recognised Apprenticeship in a mechanical field or equivalent qualifications, electrical knowledge is advantageous
• Or strong mechanical, assembly, production experience
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of tools and machines
• Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines accurately with minimal supervision
• Enthusiastic team player who exhibits a strong desire to learn new technology
