English Teacher – Full-Time | Warrington | September 2026 Start

Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with the teaching scale)

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Age Range: 11–16 (Key Stage 3 & GCSE)

We are working with a large, well-regarded secondary school in Warrington seeking a committed English Teacher to join their department from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced teachers to become part of a supportive team focused on raising attainment and driving pupil progress.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Teach English across Key Stage 3 and GCSE

Deliver a full teaching timetable, including planning, marking, and assessment

Differentiate learning to meet pupils of varying abilities

Monitor and report on student progress, working collaboratively within the English department

Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the school

Requirements

Applicants must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching English up to GCSE level

A strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
