Assistant Director of Nursing

• Assist with hiring, training nurses and monitoring nurses.
• Manage clinical operations and develop care plans.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience nursing older persons within the last 6 years.
• Minimum of 7 years post-registration experience.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and inspection activity for residential care centres.
• Hold a third-level qualification in management.
• Ability to manage own workload effectively while responding flexibly to new demands at short notice.
• Embodies a commitment to continuous improvement and learning within the residential care home.
• Skill to influence others, build constructive relationships, and achieve outcomes.
• Promote an ethos and culture of quality assurance within the clinical area, establishing benchmarks and KPIs with the Director of Nursing.
