Production Control/Planning Technician

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm

We are recruiting for a Production Control / Planning Technician to join our client based in Milton Keynes.

The role will involve managing the day-to-day flow of materials through production, ensuring orders are planned and scheduled in line with production priorities, quality requirements and agreed timescales.

Key responsibilities include

Translating customer orders into production plans and schedules.

Coordinating production

requirements and managing the day-to-day flow of work.

Liaising with relevant teams to ensure priorities are maintained.

Monitoring order progress and identifying any material shortages that could affect production.

Preparing and maintaining production paperwork and controlled documentation.

Ensuring processes are completed in line with specifications, procedures and quality standards.

Maintaining accurate production plans, schedules and stock records.

Supporting stock checks and material reconciliations, investigating any discrepancies.

Assisting with internal and external audits in line with ISO 9001:2015

requirements.

About you

We're looking for someone with experience in production control, planning or materials coordination, ideally with a good understanding of production processes and quality

requirements.

You'll also have:

Experience using production or planning systems.

Experience working with controlled documentation.

An understanding of ISO 9001 quality management

requirements.

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
