Commercial Gas Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established plumbing and heating contractor based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, with work in Leicester and the surrounding areas.

The company has been trusted by homeowners, landlords and commercial clients for over 20 years. Its commercial work covers offices, warehouses, retail units and schools, with a focus on boiler plant servicing, repair and maintenance.

The Role

• Service, repair and maintenance of commercial gas boilers and heating plant
• Fault finding and breakdown repair across a range of commercial sites
• Planned preventative maintenance visits
• Working in plant rooms across offices, warehouses, retail and education buildings
• Completing accurate service records and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations

Requirements

• Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1 or equivalent)
• Previous experience in commercial gas service, repair and maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with commercial boilers and plant
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, with a professional approach to clients and sites
