Job Description:

Location: Commerce Way, Walrow Industrial Estate, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 4AG

We are currently looking for Class 1 4on 4off Trampers to join our highly regarded team based out of our Highbridge depot.

Rates & Hours

ALL RATES ARE EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST NOVEMBER

• £17.25 per hour flat rate
• 50+ hours per shift available
• £25.50 per night out
• £4.50 daily meal allowance payable with receipt
• 23 nights out per week
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

Pay Structure

Due to the 4on 4off rota crossing over weekly pay periods, the number of paid days will vary from week to week. As our pay week runs from Sunday to Saturday, the 8-day rota does not align directly with the weekly pay period:

• Week 1 = 4 days' pay Sun - Wed
• Week 2 = 4 days' pay Mon - Thu
• Week 3 = 4 days' pay Tue - Fri
• Week 4 = 4 days' pay Wed - Sat
• Week 5 = 3 days' pay Thu - Sun
• Week 6 = 3 days' pay Fri - Mon
• Week 7 = 3 days' pay Sat - Tue
• Back to week 1 = 4 days' pay Sun - Wed

- Additional options are available to help even out your pay, should this better suit your personal circumstances.

Requirements:

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence
• Weekend availability
• Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A positive work ethic and professional attitude

Responsibilities:

• Adhering to EU-regulated drivers' hours
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing assigned deliveries safely and on time
• Using a company smartphone with pre-installed customer apps
• Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and clean before departure
