Security Architect

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A leading technology company based in Cambridge is looking for a Software Security Architect to take ownership of software security across its product portfolio.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll define security architecture and strategy, embed secure development practices across engineering teams, and ensure security is considered throughout the full product lifecycle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role will involve:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Owning the software security strategy, roadmap and architecture</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Leading threat modelling, secure design and security</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Defining secure architecture patterns, engineering standards and controls</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Embedding security into development and CI/CD processes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Overseeing vulnerability management, security testing and release assurance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Working closely with engineering, product, systems and quality teams</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Providing technical leadership and guidance on secure software development</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">They’re looking for:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Strong experience in software/product security and architecture</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Experience with secure development lifecycle, threat modelling and vulnerability management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ A strong software engineering background with practical security experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Experience implementing automated security controls within CI/CD</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ The ability to influence senior technical stakeholders and make pragmatic security decisions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">+ Experience with Embedded Linux, Android, connected or mission-critical products would be highly beneficial.</p>
