Senior Accountant I

In this role, you help maintain Deel’s financial health through accurate reporting and regulatory compliance, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. You will help develop and implement accounting policies to scale with the business, and ensure compliance across all locations. You will collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to strengthen controls and reporting quality, enabling informed decision-making in a fast-growing, global environment. • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Help improve and document accounting policies and procedures for scaling the business
• Manage government reporting, statutory financial statements, and multi-jurisdiction tax filings
• Support internal reports and reconciliations
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects
• Collaborate with external auditors

• Chartered Accountant / CPA with at least 5 years of accounting experience
• Big 4 experience from technology groups (advantage)
• Strong organization and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and high attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Office and accounting systems
• Experience with NetSuite (advantage)
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
