Senior Advisor - US/UK Cross Border Tax - London

In this UK Tax Senior role within EY's US/UK Cross-Border Tax team, you manage day-to-day UK tax compliance for a diverse client portfolio and act as the primary contact. You will spot planning opportunities, support senior colleagues on complex issues, and contribute to consultancy and research work. You’ll keep technical knowledge current and help develop the team, while benefiting from EY’s global network and coaching culture.

• Manage allocated client portfolio and own the full compliance process, delegating tasks as needed
• Be the main point of contact for clients and maintain strong client service
• Identify issues and planning opportunities, discussing with senior colleagues
• Contribute to consultancy and research projects as opportunities arise
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and apply it in reviews
• Identify internal training needs for yourself and the wider team
• Liaise with third-party professionals including solicitors, accountants, tax advisers, and financial advisers
• Develop people management and coaching skills
• Undertake other duties as required

• ATT qualification and CTA (in progress or completed)
• Experience in a similar role within professional practice
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex UK tax returns
• Excellent client service and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of key tax legislation and statutory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• High numeracy and confidence interpreting financial data
• Proficiency in relevant IT systems and tax software
