Senior Engineer - Materials Engineering

In this role you will lead high-impact additive manufacturing programs, shaping metal AM solutions for defence and aerospace applications. You’ll partner with customers, mentor engineers, and drive qualification of AM parts to meet quality and delivery targets. You will produce technical proposals and documentation while supporting business growth through bids and portfolio management. • Lead technical AM programmes and projects
• Engage with customers to capture requirements and deliver solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
• Lead qualification and certification of AM parts
• Produce high-standard proposals, reports, and documentation
• Support business development through bids, proposals, and portfolio management

• Extensive experience in additive manufacturing, especially metal-based technologies
• Strong materials science knowledge and its AM applications
• Proven project leadership with budget and schedule delivery
• Experience with mechanical testing/validation (tensile, hardness)
• Expert in Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) and CAD/CAM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement
