Day rate: £400-£450

We're looking for an experienced freelance Media Business Director to lead digital media planning and activation across a B2B account and a wider portfolio of clients. This is a hands-on role combining senior client leadership, team direction and oversight of campaign delivery and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead digital media planning and activation, aligning channels and budgets with client objectives.
• Provide senior client counsel and build strong relationships across accounts.
• Work with channel specialists to deliver campaigns across paid social, paid search and display/programmatic.
• Oversee campaign performance, optimisation and reporting, turning insights into clear recommendations.
• Guide and support the team, maintaining high standards of planning and delivery.
• Manage budgets, resources and priorities across multiple accounts.

Skills Needed:

• At least six years' experience in digital media planning and activation.
• Experience operating at Business Director level or in an equivalent senior role.
• Strong knowledge of paid social, paid search and display/programmatic.
• A track record of leading campaigns from planning through to activation, optimisation and reporting.
• Confidence managing senior client relationships and leading specialist teams.
• Strong organisation, commercial awareness and the ability to get up to speed quickly.
• B2B experience would be an advantage.
