Senior Fire & Security Engineer

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire & Security Engineer to take a lead role in the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on position with added responsibility for technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead and carry out the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnose and resolve complex faults efficiently across multi-discipline systems.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections and testing in line with current British Standards and industry regulations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers, promoting best practice and skills development.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Act as a technical point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and customer-focused service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Accurately complete service reports, certification and system documentation.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with project and operations teams to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential Skills & Experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience in a senior fire and security engineering role.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Extensive experience with installation, commissioning, servicing and fault finding.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work independently while providing technical leadership within a team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Industry qualifications (FIA, NSI, electrical or security-related certifications).</p>
