Blidworth, Nottinghamshire

20 hour per week – over 4/5 days (the offices are open from 8.30am – 4.30pm)

upto £15 per hour depending on experience

Duties for the accounts administrator

• Sales invoice generation, receipts and invoice postings, also factoring invoices when required, maintain accounts receivables ledgers, including chasing unpaid debts.
• Supplier invoices and payments postings to accounts payable ledger, agreeing balances to supplier statements and ensuring payments are made to the trading terms.
• Bank reconciliations – posting of payments & receipts to general ledgers
• Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll and pension contributions
• Posting of payroll & stock journals
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Sage Payroll
• Xero Accounting software and Payroll (possible transition to Xero Payroll from Sage Payroll in the future)
• Daily cash flow, using excel spreadsheets

Personal qualities and experience for the accounts administrator

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, suppliers etc
• All round accounts experience preferred
• Xero experience essential and Xero payroll.
• Sage Payroll preferred or some exposure to it.
• Flexibility
