A leading Manchester-based design & build fit-out contractor is looking to add an Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to its commercial team.

The business delivers a varied range of design & build fit-out projects across the UK, giving you exposure to different project types, clients and commercial environments rather than being tied to one scheme.

The role sits within a strong commercial team, working alongside two experienced Quantity Surveyors and supporting the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The role

• Assistant / Intermediate QS level position with genuine opportunity to develop your commercial experience

• Work across a range of nationwide design & build fit-out projects

• Support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account

• Subcontractor procurement and account management

• Valuations, cost reporting, forecasting and variations

• Assist with commercial reporting and project cost control

• Work alongside two experienced QSs within a close-knit commercial team

• Occasional travel to project sites when required

This is a predominantly office-based commercial role, with only occasional site travel, giving you a strong level of flexibility while still having regular access to an experienced QS team.

Salary

£40,000+ depending on experience
