Network Engineer

In Nokia's Microwave R&D organization in Vimercate, you will define test strategies for validating next-gen microwave transport solutions powering 5G and critical networks worldwide. As Microwave Integration & Test Engineer, you collaborate with system architects, software and firmware teams to ensure quality across the development lifecycle. You will lead automation initiatives, develop Python-based frameworks, and apply AI-driven testing to improve coverage and accelerate defect analysis. • Define and execute comprehensive verification and validation strategies
• Design and maintain complex test environments and automated test benches
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Experience in system integration, testing, networking, telecommunications, or software validation
