Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)

Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) 

Location: Home/Field based covering Hertfordshire - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £32,500 - £34,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:

Must hold solid occupational experience within Residential Childcare (Childrens Home) as a Deputy Manager or above.

Hold or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification (full funding and support provided)

Hold a level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare as a minimum.

Confident with Maths and English and ideally have own GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and English.

Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Must be flexible with travel.Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships - Levels 4 and 5.

Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.

Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.

Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.

Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Support, advise and motivate learners.

Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.Please note:
