Site Manager - Outstanding Secondary School - Solihull

Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and highly regarded Outstanding Secondary School in Solihull (B91) for an experienced Site Manager to join their premises team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and reliable Site Manager looking for a role that could become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is seeking a dedicated professional with previous school Site Manager experience, who can confidently oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, security, and compliance of the school site.

Please note: Previous School Site Manager experience is an essential requirement. Applications from candidates without school-based Site Manager experience will not be considered.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
• School Holidays/Half Term: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the school site.
• Ensuring the school premises remain safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained.
• Opening and securing the site as required.
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Managing contractors and overseeing site works.
• Conducting regular health and safety inspections.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety regulations.
• Supporting with emergency call-outs where required.
• Monitoring site security systems, alarms, and access arrangements.
• Supervising cleaning and premises staff where appropriate.

Essential

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager within a school environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site compliance

requirements.

• Experience carrying out basic maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to manage contractors and external visitors on site.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
