Senior Director, Medical Strategy Lead - Rheumatology

Senior Medical Director provides strategic medical and scientific leadership in Rheumatology, driving engagement with clients and bid processes. You will act as a medical director and SME across the R&D lifecycle, shaping clinical development plans andCenter of Excellence strategy. You collaborate across the organization to optimize resources and contribute to thought leadership. This role combines senior leadership with hands-on execution in a global, client-facing setting.

• Work independently of the therapeutic area head
• Lead strategic proposal development with the proposal team
• Participate as leader and SME in client bid defense meetings
• Act as consultant throughout the R&D lifecycle and clinical trials, or as a standalone solution
• Formulate clinical development plans and execute the group strategy for the Center of Excellence
• Collaborate across the organization to leverage resources
• Encourage involvement in thought leadership activities

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting
• CRO background with senior strategic leadership and Rheumatology expertise
• MD with training in Rheumatology and Board Certified – Rheumatology
• Exceptional business knowledge to drive results and provide organizational thought leadership
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (national/international)
