We are looking for a passionate and experienced IT Security Consultant to help our customers strengthen their cybersecurity posture and manage technical security risks across complex IT and OT environments.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, supporting organizations in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks while driving security transformation initiatives and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with customer IT and security teams, providing technical expertise and practical recommendations to enhance resilience against evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on technical cybersecurity topics, including: Network Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint SecurityIdentity&Access, Management(IAM), Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical security risks across IT and OT environments
• Perform and coordinate security assessments, technical audits, and vulnerability analyses
• Support and coordinate penetration testing activities
• Design and implement security concepts, controls, and technical safeguards
• Assist customers in improving their security posture and operational resilience
• Support security transformation programs and cybersecurity improvement initiatives
• Guide customers in implementing regulatory and industry standards such as NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and NIST
• Analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, translating findings into actionable security recommendations
• Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver effective security solutions

WHAT SKILLS WILL BE APPRECIATED?

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Hands-on experience in:Technical Security Consulting,Security Engineering,Security Assessments,Cybersecurity Risk Analysis
• Strong knowledge of:Network Security,Infrastructure Security,Cloud Security,Application Security
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as:ISO 27001,NIST, CIS Controls orBSI IT-Grundschutz
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex security challenges
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• German and English language skills on C1 level

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Vulnerability Management programs
• Security Monitoring and Detection Engineering experience
• Incident Response and Digital Forensics knowledge
• Experience working within regulated industries
• Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) Security and Industrial Control Systems (ICS)

Technical meetings with the Hiring Manager and/or team members.

We will invite you to one or two project meetings to confirm that we have a ‘perfect match'. The meetings may last between 30 minutes and 90 minutes, during which time we will talk to you about mutual expectations and the vision for our collaboration. You will also most likely meet your future supervisor and your teammate during this time.

At this stage, we will have decided that you are the person we want to develop our projects with. We will then come back to you with an offer of collaboration, hoping for your "yes". If for some reason, we are unable to offer you a position in our team, you will certainly receive feedback from us explaining our decision.
