As Technical Director (m/f/d) – Renewable Energy, for our office in Frankfurt am Main or Madrid, you will be responsible for:

• Providingtechnical leadership across wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects.

• Assessing and optimizing theperformance and reliability of our assets.

• Supportinginvestment and M&A activities with deep technical due diligence.

• Advising onasset development, engineering, and operational strategies .

• Managing relationships withOEMs, technical advisors, and service providers .

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and technical best practices .

• Being an integral part of andsharing knowledge with the Investment, Commercial, and Asset management teams

• Potentially the team leader function, depending on the development within the organization

Job requirements

For this role, ideally, you bring:

• 5+ years of technical experience in the renewable energy sector.

• Background as acommercially driven engineer with deep expertise in wind, solar PV, and ideally battery storage.

• Previous experience at aleading technical advisory firm orrenewable energy OEM .

• Strong understanding oftechnical due diligence in M&A transactions .

• Hands-on, self-starter mentality with a problem-solving mindset.

• Team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• German, Spanish, Italian or Polish skills would be a strong plus
