Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable franchised main dealer in St Austell for a Vehicle Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a friendly, professional team within a well-established organisation that values its staff and invests in ongoing training and career development.

Competitive salary circa £32,000, dependent on experience

Achievable bonus scheme with an OTE of £37,000+

Monday to Friday working week, with Saturday mornings on rota

Ongoing training and professional developmentDuties:

Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately using technical knowledge and equipment

Conducting repairs and routine servicing to manufacturer standards

Road testing vehicles to ensure issues are fully resolved

Handling parts correctly and ensuring proper storage

Providing excellent customer service and vehicle care as the Vehicle Technician

Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards

Requirements

Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent

Experience in diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing

Previous MOT testing experience is desirable but not essential

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills and a professional attitude
