Job Title: Bus Driver Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Classroom based (Must be flexible with travel across sites across Newcastle and Sunderland) 

Salary: £30,000

KM are delighted to be supporting a Transport Training Academy, designed to help individuals start or progress their careers within the bus and passenger transport sector.

Our client is offering this role as a Trainee or Qualified opportunity – full training will be provided for the successful candidate to achieve the Trainer/Assessor award.

Essential Criteria:

Must hold valid PCV and CPC licences.

Must have experience of delivering training, or mentoring, colleagues on-the-job (e.g. practical training; classroom training; CPC training; route learning; vehicle checks etc.)

Must hold solid, occupational experience as a Bus Driver.

Comfortable and confident to deliver classroom / workshop-based group sessions.

Must be I.T. literate.

Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.Duties:

Deliver a fully funded training programme for aspiring bus drivers, alongside ongoing development and mandatory CPC training for existing drivers.

Training delivery will be in-person classroom/workshop based.

Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Work to learner review and completion timescales.Please note:
