Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £35k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites across the North West of England.

You will be joining a respected name within the Water Hygiene / Treatment industry, who have recently won new client contracts in the region. Applicants must hold hands-on experience with TMV servicing, cleans / disinfections and chlorinations, and will be confident to work independently on site.

You will be travelling across: Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Wigan, Leigh, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Chorley, St Helens, Warrington, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Runcorn, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Crosby, Prescot, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Formby, Southport, Preston, Blackburn, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• IT literate
• Good literacy and numeracy skills

The Role:

• Conducting a wide range of pre-planned compliance duties
• Showerhead disinfections
• TMV servicing and maintenance
• Outlet flushing
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• Calorifier inspections
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Producing regular service reports
