Fire & Security Engineer
Location: Midlands (Field-Based)
Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 Basic (Dependent on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable security solutions provider, seeking a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of systems including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and the potential to expand into Fire Alarm systems.
Role Overview
As a Fire & Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, installing, and commissioning security systems across commercial and industrial sites in the Midlands
- Working with a variety of systems including Intruder Alarms (particularly Galaxy), CCTV, and Access Control
- Participating in a 1-in-5 out-of-hours standby rota
- Ensuring all installations and maintenance meet current compliance standards and customer requirements
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience with Galaxy Intruder Alarm systems
- Strong working knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Valid CSCS or ECS certification
- Eligibility to pass a DBS check
Desirable:
- Previous experience working on Water Utility sites
- PASMA and IPAF certified
- EUSR Water Hygiene card holder
