Security Engineer

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Field Engineer to take technical responsibility for the reliable and efficient operation of security systems supporting Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role will focus on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of CCTV, intruder detection, access control, alarm signalling and associated communications systems all to support the operation of High Voltage Assets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will act as a senior technical point of contact, resolving complex faults, supporting engineers and customers, and ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and operational.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnose and resolve complex CCTV, intruder, access control and signalling faults.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the reliable operation of ARC receiving and communications equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to maximise system uptime.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Configure, test and commission new and upgraded systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with customers, ARC operations teams, manufacturers and suppliers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, resilience and performance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all work meets relevant technical, security and health & safety standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">5+ years' experience in electronic security or a related technical field.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong experience with CCTV, intruder, access control and alarm signalling systems.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working with Alarm Receiving Centres or monitored security systems.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of IP/networked security and communications systems.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to work independently and provide technical leadership to other engineers.</p>
